About me
Aernout’s Energy Research is led by Aernout Klokgieters, an independent energy advisor based in Hanoi, Vietnam.
With a Master’s in Sustainable Energy Technology from the Technical University of Delft, Aernout specializes in providing strategic support and policy advice to governments, transmission system operators, and energy developers.
Having previously worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at TenneT – the Dutch Transmission System Operator – he has a wealth of knowledge in energy market design and regulatory analysis.
